Mike McConnell (Executive Director, Founder)
Mike has spent thirty years growing entrepreneurial businesses, and most recently helped found Niman Ranch Inc., where he was active in management through 2005. Mike is a former member of the World Wildlife Fund's National Council, founder of two technology-education non-profits, New Media Centers and Highway One. He graduated cum laude from Yale University in 1966 and taught in India on a Fulbright grant from 1966-7.

Brian Heimberg (Program Director, Co-Founder)
Brian graduated from UC Berkeley in 2004 with an interdisciplinary degree in Food Politics before co-founding Husbandry Institute. He has worked with the National Family Farm Coalition (Washington DC), the School for International Training (Vermont), and on political campaigns.
